This mouse is awesome. Comes in a nice little bag which is great for travel. Connects via Bluetooth to my Dell with no problems. Connects immediately after turning on. Only issue keeping it from a 5 is that it does "go to sleep" very quickly, and then takes a moment to start working again upon use. I'm sure this is for battery purposes and may be for the best, but it is a mild inconvenience.
Otherwise, I love this. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good, inexpensive Bluetooth mouse that works well for frequent travelers.

The Logitech v470 is a smaller and more portable version of its desktop cousin. It runs on two AA batteries and has a built-in on/off switch, allowing you to save battery life during downtime. When your mouse successfully links up with your booted notebook, a blue light will cue momentarily, signaling that your mouse is ready for action.
The mouse wheel is comfortable and steady; I've been scrolling docs and web pages with ease. The left and right-click buttons were stiff out of the box, but they've been slowly loosening up with use.
Two quirks blemish the generally positive experience. For one, even with the proper drivers installed, the mouse isn't quite as smooth as most wired mice I've used. Secondly, as described in other user reviews here, the device does seem to lull into a "sleep" mode if you leave it idle, which then jolts awake when you begin using it, leaving you with a millisecond of serious jitter. Fortunately, this pre-purchase concern has remained barely noticeable to me from the start.
My early read on the Logitech v470 is that it's a solid economical choice that performs to expectations. The sleek, contoured design feels natural, looks good, and pairs particularly well with my similarly rounded macbook!

This is my second or third V470, I had another brand Bluetooth mouse in between this and the last V470, no comparison in terms of ergonomics and fit. The left button on my last V470 one day just started sticking and requiring significantly more pressure to engage so I decided to retire the little fellow, it lasted about 2-3 years in everyday use.
